After unveiling the A5x 4G variant last week, Oppo has now launched its 5G counterpart in India — the Oppo A5x 5G. Priced at ₹13,999, the device brings 5G connectivity, a powerful Dimensity 6300 chipset, and a massive 6,000mAh battery to the budget smartphone segment.
The Oppo A5x 5G runs on Android 15 with ColorOS 15 on top and is equipped with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It features a 120Hz LCD with a peak brightness of 1,000 nits. While Oppo hasn’t revealed the screen’s size or resolution yet, it does boast Splash Touch and Glove Touch support, enabling usage even with wet hands or gloves — ideal for all-weather usability.
In terms of optics, the A5x 5G sports a 32MP primary rear camera and a 5MP front-facing selfie camera. Powering the device is a large 6,000mAh battery with support for 45W fast charging, aimed at keeping users connected all day.
Ruggedness is another highlight of the A5x 5G. It comes with an IP65 rating for water and dust resistance and MIL-STD-810H military-grade durability certification, making it suitable for harsh environments.
The Oppo A5x 5G will be available starting May 25 in Midnight Blue and Laser White color options. It can be purchased via Oppo’s official website, Amazon.in, Flipkart, and offline retail outlets across India.
