Huawei Launches Watch Fit 4 Series in China, Introduces First-Ever Pro Model

The Watch Fit 4 series already began its global rollout last week, and Huawei is now bringing these devices to its domestic market.

Sleek Design, Enhanced Durability

The standard Watch Fit 4 boasts a slim, lightweight design with dimensions of 43 x 38 x 9.5mm and a weight of just 27 grams. It features a stylish 3D wing-like contour, a rotating crown, and a function button. Color options include Black, White, Purple, Silver, and Green.

The Watch Fit 4 Pro is slightly larger at 44.5 x 40 x 9.3mm and weighs 30.4 grams. It is available in Black, Blue, and Green, with the latter featuring a nylon strap, while the others come with fluoroelastomer bands. The Pro variant stands out with a three-layer build—titanium alloy bezel, aluminum alloy casing, and a sapphire glass display—for superior durability.

Display and Build

Both models feature a 1.82-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 480 x 408 pixels and 347 PPI. The standard model offers up to 2000 nits brightness, while the Pro model reaches 3000 nits, ensuring visibility even under direct sunlight.

Both devices support wireless charging and are water-resistant up to 5ATM. They are compatible with Android, iOS, and HarmonyOS platforms.

New Features and Upgrades

The series introduces customizable watch faces with built-in sticker options, allowing users to personalize with emojis, pets, and geometric patterns. Users can also create DIY gallery watch faces with themes such as Arctic Rays or Dusk Silhouette.

A new and more sensitive barometer provides real-time environmental data, including altitude, air pressure, and ascent metrics. Fitness tracking includes data on cadence, heart rate, distance, and calories burned.

Health and Wellness

Exclusive to the Pro model, Huawei integrates its new TruSense health monitoring system, capable of tracking six major bodily systems including respiratory, nervous, and endocrine health. The Pro also supports ECG monitoring, Pulse Wave Arrhythmia analysis, and comes with an Emotional Wellbeing app for both variants to assess mood and suggest breathing exercises.

Other features include:

  • Sleep, heart rate, and blood oxygen monitoring
  • Menstrual cycle tracking
  • Plateau health research
  • Health Insights for lifestyle improvement

Sports and Fitness Modes

The series supports a wide range of activity modes including mountaineering, hiking, skiing, rowing, sailing, and golf, among others. The new Sunflower Positioning System enables highly accurate real-time location tracking with fast satellite lock-in and colorful movement trails.

Smart Features

Users can enjoy functionalities like Bluetooth calling, voice notepad, NFC card support, remote camera controls, quick reply messaging, and access to third-party apps. Screenshots can also be captured directly from the watch.

Battery Life

The Watch Fit 4 series is equipped with a 400mAh battery. Both variants support wireless charging, with the standard model taking 75 minutes and the Pro model 60 minutes to fully charge. Battery life is rated at 10 days under typical usage, or 4 days with Always-On Display (AOD) enabled.
