Sudden Dial Pad Changes Confuse Android Users

Recently, many Android users have reported unexpected changes to their phone’s dial pad interface. Some find it confusing upon unlocking their phones, while others struggle to make urgent calls.

Experts say the issue can stem from software updates by phone manufacturers or Google, temporary app glitches, third-party dialer installations, or accidental changes in settings.

Tech specialist Majharul Haque Diplu recommends restarting the phone first. If the problem persists, users should clear the dialer app’s cache and data, uninstall unknown third-party apps, or reset the default dialer. Continued issues may require visiting an authorized service center.

Experts also advise maintaining overall phone security, avoiding unknown apps, and keeping the system updated.
